About our Family
The Squatrito family
We welcome you to our family. We live in Jackpot, Nevada. I am Ruth Kennnison-Squatrito and my husband is Vincent Squatrito. We have three beautiful boys Hayden, Carson, Finnegan, and Jameson arriving late August or early September. We have three dogs Ginny, Georgia, Snickers. We also have three cats Clawdia, Stewart Pickles Bottoms, and Waffles. We have several chickens.
Hayden
Hayden is 9 years old. He is going into 4th grade, which Vincent will be his teacher again. He loves to play with all our animals. He picks a special puppy from each litter to give extra attention too. Hayden likes to practice obedience with Ginny.
Carson
Carson is 7 years old. Carson is going into 2nd grade, which Ruth will be his teacher. Carson loves all animals. He absolutely loves to help take care of the animals. His favorite part is when he gets to help feed them.
Finnegan
Finnegan is 4 years old. He is always wanting to play with all the animals regardless if they will try and claw him or maul him. He LOVES to feed the dogs and help mama set up the potty pads for the puppies.
All three boys are extremely excited for the arrival of their little brother Jameson. They are always playing together. Some of their favorite activities to do together are playing with the puppies, playing on our trampoline, and playing with all their toys and creating there own games. They base alot of their games around different tv shows which they watch.
Ruth
I am an elementary teacher at our school in Jackpot. Animals have always been a passion of mine and I love that I can share this passion with others. Each person that adopts one of our puppies feels like they become an extended member of our family. My goal is to have healthy, happy, well socialized puppies become members of your family.
Vincent
I am also a teacher at our school in Jackpot. Ruth and I were lucky enough to meet in Jackpot and we've loved it ever since. At first I wasn't so sure about raising puppies, but these furry little creatures have wiggled their way into my heart and our family. We feel blessed to share this experience with all of you.
Snickers
Snickers is a 10 month old male sheepadoodle which is sheep dog mixed with a miniature poodle mix. He is full of energy. He is amazing with the kids, cats, and chickens. When chickens do get out he is a huge help with catching them.
Georgia
Georgia is 3 years old. She is a moyen poodle. She came to us through an adoption. She had been neglected. She is a true snuggles. She has grown on the family extremely quickly. One of her favorite things to do is run and bark at the chickens, but she never tries to hurt them. They are best friends. She is a CKC member.
Ginny
Ginny is 6 years old. She is a standard poodle. She has been with the family since 8 weeks old. She is amazing with kids and most cats. Ginny at times things she is a lap dog. She loves the outside and family. She is our original snuggle dog. She has had 3 pervious litters. We have decided to retire her from breeding, but she still love the little puppies even if they are not her pups.
Clawdia
Clawdia is our inside and outside cat that we adopted spring of 2020. She is so gentle and sweet with the boys. She loves to snuggle with any soft blanket. She is always up for a nap in Finnegan's crib.
Elosie
Elosie is our outdoor or shop cat as we call her. She is full of purrs. We also adopted her in the spring of 2020. she is our tough and rough cat. She is the fiercest of them all. She loves to spend time in the shop with Vincent. She is always keeping her eye on all of his projects in the shop.
Waffles
Waffles is a 4 year old cat who we adopted from someone in Jackpot. He is loves to play with the puppies right now. He is full of play with all the kids and dogs.
Stewart Pickles Bottoms
Pickles was adopted in May of 2024. He is our only indoor only cat. He is a extremely friendly furry friend. He gets along with anyone. He has not determined if he likes the dogs yet. The entire family loves him.
Chickens
Ruth currently has around 40 chickens. Carson and Finnegan love to help Ruth do her chicken chores. They will help get eggs, feed them and everything else.
Freya
Freya was 12 year old Rat Terrier when we had to let her go. She is our family's little snuggler, she loves to snuggles and snooze under sheets and blankets. She loves to chase after balls and get there before Ginny. She loves to play with Ginny all the time the two of them are true sisters from another mother.
